Top 5 Raw Space Venues in Manhattan
Finding your dream wedding venue especially in Manhattan can be a tricky task. I researched and looked at what felt like every possible venue in the city and quickly realized that there wasn’t going to be a venue that was perfect and that I may have to compromise. The venue either didn’t have the capacity for our guest count or it had an amazing view, but was located on a crummy street. In a city with so much happening at once and so many variables, it’s hard to find exactly what your looking for. Especially when trying to stick to a budget. In my search, I came across all different types of venues. From traditional ballrooms in classic New York hotels to totally raw spaces, I saw everything.
For a bride with a creative eye looking for complete control over every little detail of her day, a raw space is the way to go. The venue will rent out the space and all catering and décor must be brought in. You, or your wedding designer, will choose everything from tables and chairs down to the style of forks for the place settings. It sounds like a tedious task, but in the end your vision will come to life and you’ll be able to transform the space into exactly what you want. Take a look below at my top 5 raw spaces in Manhattan (well kind of) and definitely check them out, each one offers something unique and are sure to wow your guests!
